MARKUS WILFLING
Markus Wilfling's "plastic god doesn't roll the dice" is an object in the center of a multilayer as well as continuative reference system. Already the deep going sentence which is attributive to Albert Einstein should be critically debated considering Einstein's person and work - as well as the symbol of the cross, chosen by Wilfling, should be debated considering Wilfling's person. Is it allowed to attest Einstein a certain ironic position? And does this one lead Wilfling's translation into an object at least close to sarcasm? The Christian symbol, as carrier of meaning, is being led beyond the commonly religious allegory in this object - to an area of an associative shameless play of words, in which alternatives of interpretations of the observers either meet or lead to a confrontation. The position of the individual dice, their visible pips are being left to chance. However, arrangement and number of the dice are calculated and are associated with number symbolism. Wenzel Mraček
