SAM
The nonresponder company presents seeds of captured eyes
In his current pictures Bruno Wildbach stubbornly composes a grotesque world leading those in search of meaning into a labyrinth where they will get lost hopelessly. Although the protagonists in the pictures seem familiar, nothing is predictable. It is a strangely unreal atmosphere that emanates from the nested picture arrangements, in which there are both abstract and figurative elements set side by side. Painting here serves as a code for the rediscovery of emotionality; the picture “SAM” – the eponym of the exhibition – becomes a metaphor of the belief in utopia. On our expedition into this picture world we will meet an anthropological constant – Sam.
